Description
Mary Elizabeth came to this country at the ripe old age of 19 (in 1909). Taught herself how to speak English with only a 3rd grade education. She was the kindest, sweetest person I've ever known. One other thing, she loved her roses and grew them all over the yard. Her favorite was the Peace rose. Just think of what she could have done and been if she was born now. She passed away at the ripe old age of 93 in 1983.
This piece almost drew itself! I don't think I've ever had an easier time with a piece of art before or since.
