Description
Kenya is an African Lion that was rescued from being a "House Pet" at 3 months of age. He was young, so there shouldn’t be any hidden scars.
So many times these animals become "disposable" because what’s cute and cuddly when it’s a baby, may not be so cuddly later on. People must think before purchasing them. They are a lifetime commitment and will always be WILD animals no matter how much time is spent with them.
They suffer when we no longer can take care of them through either lack of interest or lack of funds. Kenny is now Nook's new playmate. He is gaining 2 pounds a day and practicing his roar.
2003: Kenny has become a beautiful young man who loves to “sneak” up on the visitors to Noah’s. He also likes to “hide” behind the blades of grass in his enclosure... pretend you can’t see him, he likes that.
