My husband had a German Short Haired Pointer named Heidi. I've heard so many stories about his and her hunting days in the snows of Wisconsin. He had her bred and she produced ten perfect pups. I drew several pencil sketches of Heidi from old photos. Of course they are nothing like yours, but I framed them and whenever friends come over, he can share his stories. She never had another litter, and died soon thereafter. She was a special dog.
